We're happy to introduce you to our 2023 Might Meets Right barrel-aged stouts featuring Basil Hayden Bourbon and Russell’s Reserve® Rye Barrels!
Now in our tenth release, we're going back to the basics, focussing on the incredible barrels we used. We are proud and excited to offer you the first taste of the 2023 vintage:
Basil Hayden Toast®
(Aged in Basil Hayden Toast® Bourbon Barrels) — the rich dark malts mellow and take on notes of dried fruit, caramelized sugar, and toasted oak. (13.7% alc/vol)
Russell’s Reserve 6 Year Old Rye®
(Aged in Russell’s Reserve® 6 Year Old Rye Barrels) — the rich dark malts mellow and take on notes of allspice, pepper, and almond.
Chocolate
(Aged in Basil Hayden Toast® Bourbon & Russell’s Reserve® 6 Year Old Rye Barrels) — We blend both the bourbon and rye barrels and then let it sit on cacao nibs to bring out the chocolate malt notes.
Vanilla
(Aged in Basil Hayden Toast® Bourbon & Russell’s Reserve® 6 Year Old Rye Barrels)
We blend both the bourbon and rye barrels and then let it sit on vanilla beans to bring out vanillin notes from aging in oak whiskey barrels.
